Trade Corporation is a leading IT hardware, Photographic raw material, and Photo support distributor of Bangladesh, representing some top brands from around the world.
Found in 1982, in the port city of Chittagong, we are one of the biggest importers of our industry in Bangladesh and were awarded an Import Award by the biggest bank in the country, Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited. Currently Trade Corporation is the exclusive distributor for Kodak, Benro, LEGEND, Mr. Data, YDD & RIDATA & Manfrotto in Bangladesh.
During the year 1995 Trade Corporation inaugurated Color Bazar, one of the most advanced Photo Labs in the country with state-of-the-art equipments and a team of skilled technicians and designers. As of today, Color Bazar is the most preferred destination for professional photographers from all across the country including almost all registered photographers of Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (FDC).
In 2008, Trade Corporation introduced a computer section to tap into the booming computer hardware industry in the country. This new section witnessed tremendous growth in revenues over the years. Our main focus is on high-volume items; due to our persistence and continuous focus on importing high quality products, we have become one of the largest importers in Bangladesh for blank optical discs, laser toner cartridges, and inkjet paper & ink. Our brands YDD, Mr. Data, Legend, RiDATA & Inkstone are hugely popular in the local market due to their high quality and affordable price.
Our company is always looking for new ventures and in 2010 we acquired Hotel Asia, which was then a 25-room residential hotel. By August 2015, the reconstructed Hotel Asia is set to be inaugurated as a 54-room modern economy hotel with a restaurant, roof-top swimming pool, conference hall and convention center.
As the economy of Bangladesh grows, we look forward to expand our business as well. So we are always looking for joint venture, partnership, distributorship and takeover opportunity that falls in line with our vision for the future.
